Standing with the IDF

Emergency Patrols, Security and Resucue Forces

About JShield

JShield was established on day two of the war, with the full volunteerism of citizens – from the right and left of the political spectrum, from the North and South of the country, religious and secular, young and old, all working together to support our nation on all fronts.

JShield was the first to successfully provide hundreds of ballistic vests and helmets to soldiers who were in critical need (following quality control and full official approval).

Our mission is clear: to provide our soldiers, our emergency neighborhood patrols, and all our security forces with the necessary resources to carry out their tasks to the very best of their abilities.

Our Initiatives

Critical Military Gear

One of our notable achievements is the purchase and import of essential military equipment from Israel and the USA, with the official approval of the Ministry of Defense and the customs authorities. This equipment is essential for the safety and efficiency of our security forces in the field.

Assistance to Rescue Forces

One of the units we were called to help at the beginning of the war is the unit charged with identifying bodies. We work closely with the rescue forces and provide them with all the necessary equipment wherever it is needed.

Assistance to Emergency Neighborhood Patrols

Following the horrific events of October 7, people recognized how critical emergency neighborhood patrols are, and how essential equipment is needed to defend our towns. We are ensuring that these patrols are provided with equipment such as thermal drones, scanning lights, walkie-talkies and much more.

Our mission

Our main task is to make sure that all the forces in the field have the necessary equipment in order to perform their tasks in the best possible way. We are working with all the relevant authorities in the field, who are working tirelessly in order to carry out and fulfill the mission.

We at JShield are here to provide the biggest response possible to achieve this goal.

Our Team

Our team is a microcosm of Israel – secular and religious, right and left, people living in the north, center or south. All of us share a common goal – to help Israel’s military formation defeat our enemies.

All of our staff all over the country and the world work entirely on a voluntary basis, around the clock, to help our soldiers. The various “Chamals” (Emergency Situation Rooms) in Israel and around the world were founded together by four people, and are operated by dozens of volunteers around the globe.

Chamal Nechusha

Chamal JShield Nechusha was founded by Oded and Efrat Lipshitz in a small and quiet town in the Ella Valley.

Oded a businessman; prior to the war he led the acquisitions of Israeli companies and aided the Israeli economy.

Efrat, works at the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, working on unique programs for Diaspora Jews.

They are helped by volunteers Or Boubli, Hodaya Katz-Mervis, Revital Goldberg, and Neri Lipshitz, who work around the clock to make sure everything is running smoothly and that every soldier will receive what he or she needs.

The entire town of Nechusha helps out with Chamal Nechusha, packing equipment, raising money, preparing meals, transporting items to the field, and much more…

Chamal Haifa

Chamal Haifa arose out of the community “Those who want peace will prepare for war,” founded by Boaz Gabriel and Uri Kaduel half a year before the war.

The community’s vision is to prepare the army for war in times of peace and to create a supportive, responsible civilian community.

Chamal Haifa was founded by Uri Kaduel and Eden Sharon on the first day of the war; since then they have helped to establish various means of communication between various organizations and Chamals, through which many important activities have been carried out.

Chamal Haifa receives various requests for basic tactical and medical equipment from around the country for various organizations and the military in particular, and provides them.

Chamal Haifa has regular volunteers who devote many hours during the week to its functioning and improvement, among the volunteers are: Keren Perl, Idit Akerman, Simona Moisenko, Yuval Carmeli, Maya, May Tal and many volunteers.

Jshield Team Modi'in.

Since the beginning of the war, we were engaged to assist the IDF fighters and purchase for them tactical and thermal equipment and other required equipment.

All the equipment was donated by generous donors and transferred directly to fighting units, mainly in Gaza but on the Lebanese border, on the Golan Heights and other places as well. The units that received equipment include fighting units and reserve units of Golani, Paratroopers, Armored Corps, Duvdevan, Nahal and more.

So far, equipment worth about a million NIS has been distributed across the country by volunteers.

The entire activity is operated by volunteers, in collaboration with recognized associations and without any profit motive or fees.

Our team includes volunteers, who live in Modi’in : Yossi Shmolevich, Moti Michaeli, Rabbi Dr. Daniel Nikritin, Roy Friedman and Itay Shaul..

as well as 40 additional  volunteers who work tirelessly to transport, organize and supply everything needed

Chamal Seattle & the Jewish Diaspora

Chamal Seattle was the first to join us when we realized we needed friends from across the ocean.

Sima Gendelman and all the parents of the Seattle Scout tribe are heading the efforts, rising to the task, raising thousands of dollars, sending suitcases full of equipment for us to deliver to the soldiers and emergency neighborhood patrols.

In addition, contacts in other Jewish communities around the world are contributing to the war effort.

Our volunteers

Hundreds of volunteers are helping nationally and internationally, in every possible way: sitting in the Chamals and processing needs; purchasing, packing, and delivering equipment to different points; and transporting packages to soldiers or forces in the field and much more.

Our volunteers work tirelessly around the clock out of their faith and desire to help.
